Allied Universal is seeking aSecurity Professionalin**Fort Erie****,**ON.

**Position Title:**Security Professional

**Position Location:**Fort Erie, ON

Pay Rate:$19.08 per hour

**Status:**Part-Time Position

**Shift:**Saturdays - Sundays; (7 pm - 7 am); Night Shifts

Overview:

Allied Universal is currently hiring aSecurity ProfessionalinFort Erie****, ONto provide professional, front-line security services. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, willing to work nights, and able to work with a dynamic team.

Requirements**:**

• Must be a permanent resident or Canadian citizen
• A valid driver's licence is considered an asset
• Must be at least 21 years old for insurance purposes.
• Valid ONSecurity Guard License.
• Must be able to escort contractors and guest through the facility.
• Must be comfortable walking for a long period of time through the shift.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificate is a must
• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions**:**

• Conduct patrols of designated areas to monitor and ensure the safety and security of the premises

• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to any security breaches, disturbances, or suspicious activities

• Escort contractors and guests through the facility providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies

• Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols

• Report any security incidents, accidents, or hazards immediately to supervisors or appropriate authorities, documenting observations and actions taken

• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively

• Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

• Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution

• Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks

• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant regulation
