Tinhorn Creek Vineyards is a premier winery located on the Golden Mile Bench in Oliver, BC, in the heart of British Columbia’s South Okanagan Valley. As a Wine Educator, you will be the face of Tinhorn Creek Vineyards, delivering engaging and informative tastings, promoting our Wine Club, and providing outstanding service. Your ability to create memorable experiences while driving sales and memberships will be key to your success.

This is a seasonal position, running from mid-April/May to mid-October 2026.

This teammate will be responsible for -

  • Provide a warm welcome to all guests, ensuring a friendly and engaging tasting experience.
  • Educate guests on our wines, vineyard practices, and Wine Club benefits.
  • Lead daily property tours and share the rich history of Tinhorn Creek.
  • Process sales transactions through Commerce7 and assist with wine purchases, packaging, and shipping.
  • Support team and individual sales goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Assist in the setup and execution of special wine events and experiences.
  • Perform daily opening and closing duties, maintaining a clean and organized tasting area.

The skills, knowledge and experience this teammate will bring -

  • Experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or wine service (previous Wine Educator/Tasting Room Associate experience preferred).
  • WSET Level 2/3, ISG/CAPS, or CMS certification is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of local BC wines and properties, including our sister estates.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and storytelling skills.
  • Enthusiasm for wine and the ability to create a fun, engaging guest experience.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada without restriction.

Work Environment -

  • A mix of indoor and outdoor work, often in warm summer temperatures (up to 40°C).
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (cases of wine) and stand for extended periods.
  • Requires climbing small sets of stairs, bending, and stooping as needed.
  • A fast-paced environment, especially during peak season.
