About the role
Start a Sales or Operations career with Swish! Become our Operations Assistant and Installer! What does the Operations Assistant and Installer do? The Operations Assistant and Installer provides support across multiple departments, including Operations, Customer Service, and Warehouse. The successful candidate will assist with the installation and maintenance of chemical, soap, and towel dispensers, as well as support warehouse operations through deliveries, inventory management, and general order fulfillment. This role also includes providing backup support for customer service needs in the retail store when required.
More Specific Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and setup of janitorial dispensers, including chemical pumps, kitchen and laundry pumps, towel, tissue, and soap dispensers for new and existing customers.
- Provide emergency repairs and maintenance of dispensers at customer locations.
- Perform timely and efficient deliveries to meet customer needs.
- Manage inventory of replacement parts and equipment to ensure availability for service needs.
- Maintain, organize, and stock tools and equipment necessary for fieldwork.
- Ensure proper care, cleanliness, and maintenance of the company service van.
- Collaborate with the Swish Branch team on larger installation projects.
- Occasionally perform after-hours or weekend emergency service repairs.
- Travel to customer locations as required.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by management.
What do you need?
- Valid G class driver’s license and the ability to drive a company vehicle.
- Basic plumbing and electrical experience is an asset.
- Previous warehouse experience, including forklift and power equipment operation, is an advantage.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude are essential.
- General computer skills.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Availability between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Wednesday through Friday. Minimal after-hours or weekend work may be required for emergency repairs.
