Join Our Team as a Field Project Coordinator! Location: Greater Vancouver Area Company: Universal Rail Solutions Employment Type: Full-Time Wage: $70,000 – $100,000 annually based on experience Ready to Make an Impact in the Field? We’re looking for a Field Project Coordinator who is ready to support the successful delivery of construction and railway projects from start to finish. If you’re organized, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment—this is your opportunity to play a key role in delivering projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards. What You’ll Do As a Field Project Coordinator, you’ll support multiple projects at various stages while ensuring alignment with safety, quality, schedule, and financial objectives. Your responsibilities will include: Assist in managing activities across multiple projects while maintaining ongoing communication with the project team Support company objectives related to customer satisfaction, safety, quality, production, revenue, and profitability Actively promote and support the Company’s commitment to safety and core values Coordinate and obtain critical project documentation such as permits, submittals, and subcontractor insurance Monitor daily project activities and record production and job costs in the project management system Track progress and prepare Project Progress Reports as required Identify scope changes and support the preparation of Change Order Requests Assist with identifying resource requirements, setting expectations, and monitoring progress Support project closeout activities, including completion of Project Closeout Reports Submit invoices and support collection of customer payments Maintain and update customer and stakeholder contact databases Perform other related duties as required What You Bring Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Primavera Ability to plan and manage work according to project schedules Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-pressure environment Ability to anticipate stakeholder needs and identify practical solutions Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team High level of professionalism and discretion with confidential information Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Job Requirements Degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field (Civil Engineering preferred) Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or in construction is a strong asset. Project Management coursework considered an asset Working toward a Project Management certification and/or professional designation Availability to work weekends and weeknights as required by project demands Railway experience is an asset Why Join Us?
