We are looking for a Web & Graphic Designer who can own the digital design experience for MaKami, including our website, landing pages, and campaign creative.
Role Overview
This role sits at the center of design, web experience, and marketing execution. You will be responsible for the design, structure, and ongoing improvement of the MaKami College website while creating high-performing marketing assets used across digital campaigns such as Google Ads, Meta, and social media, and recruitment initiatives. This is a creative role for someone who combines strong design ability with website design and execution.
Website Ownership & Digital Experience
- Own the design, structure, and ongoing improvement of the MaKami College website
- Design and build landing pages that support student recruitment campaigns
- Maintain the website for performance, usability, SEO, and conversion optimization
- Ensure mobile performance, accessibility, and speed across all pages
- Work closely with marketing leadership to improve the student journey from first click to enrollment
- Manage and maintain the website CMS including updates, improvements, and integrations
- Create new website if needed
Graphic Design & Creative Development
- Design digital assets for marketing campaigns, social media, advertising, and email marketing
- Maintain consistent visual identity across all MaKami marketing channels
- Create high-performing digital ad creatives and campaign visuals
- Develop marketing materials that support student recruitment and brand awareness
- Collaborate with marketing and program teams to translate campaign ideas into visual execution
Digital Marketing Support
- Support the creation of digital advertising campaigns including Google Ads and Meta platforms
- Design and optimize creative assets used in paid media campaigns
- Build campaign landing pages aligned with marketing objectives
- Work with the marketing team to test and improve creative performance
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design and digital design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating web design, campaign creative, and digital brand work
- Experience building and maintaining websites using WordPress or similar CMS platforms
- Strong front-end knowledge including HTML, CSS, and responsive web design
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma
- Experience designing landing pages focused on lead generation or conversion
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Additional Skills
- Experience supporting paid digital campaigns including Google Ads and Meta Ads
- Experience with marketing automation or CRM platforms
- Basic understanding of SEO and website optimization
- Motion graphics or video editing for digital campaigns
- Experience working with marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics
