About the role
Techmation Electric & Controls is looking for driven and experienced 3rd Class Power Engineering Operator for a project located in Fort St John, BC. Individuals must be knowledgeable about current OH&S legislation, and conversant with the industry standards and practices of today’s safety-focused Oil & Gas sector.
Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be local to the Fort St John area, or be willing to relocate, in order to be considered. The current project offers a 7/7 shift.
Requirements:
- Must have a 3rd Class Power Engineering ticket
- Minimum of 2 years Oil & Gas plant facilities experience is required
- Previous experience in Ifpexol refrigeration, Sulphinol sweetening, acid gas injection, condensate stabilization, and gas driven power generation is an asset
- Must have current Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and CSO certificates
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work within a team environment are required
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work alone and complete routine tasks
