Job Summary Reporting to the Manager, Professional Practice, Patient Experience, Quality & Risk, the Quality Improvement Specialist is responsible for leading and supporting initiatives that enhance patient care and organizational performance. Working closely with stakeholders, this role drives the development and implementation of the Quality Plan, facilitates workshops, coaches staff and leaders, and promotes best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in a health-related field, leadership, or quality improvement required
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or other Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) certification strongly preferred
  • Certifications in Change Management, Coaching, and Teaching/Training are assets
  • Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in a similar role, ideally within complex healthcare settings
  • Knowledge of regulatory bodies, relevant legislation, and quality improvement methodologies preferred
  • Experience with workflow process mapping required
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and healthcare reporting systems

  • Technical proficiency with data analysis and reporting systems

Hours of Work : Monday - Friday. Weekend work may be required as needed.
