What We're Looking For 2 to 4 years in project management, project coordination, or a closely related role Demonstrated technical competence with data and digital tools Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently Based in Canada, within reach of our Vancouver, BC office to support project travel Ability to travel within Canada 20 to 30 percent of the time
What You Bring The ability to manage several projects, timelines, and sets of partners at once without losing the thread Confidence in spreadsheets, project and database platforms, and shared workspaces, and the ability to pick up new tools quickly, including AI tools The ability to take a short brief and run with it, with limited oversight Clear communication with internal teams, partners, and funders Interest in Indigenous community development and the work we do An understanding of OCAP and data sovereignty principles, or the readiness to learn why they shape how we manage information
Nice to Have Direct experience working with Indigenous communities, Nations, or Indigenous-led organizations Experience with funder reporting or grant-funded projects Formal project management training or certification (PMP, CAPM, or similar) Experience building or improving project systems in tools like Asana, Airtable, or Notion
