As Manager, Financial Reporting, you will be a key member of the Finance leadership team, responsible for overseeing the preparation and integrity of the organization’s internal and external financial reporting in a public-company environment, while collaborating with senior management and various teams within the organization. Reporting to the Controller - Corporate Reporting, this role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality, compliant, and timely financial disclosures under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Key Accountabilities:
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of high-performing professionals within the financial reporting team, providing guidance, coaching and performance management to support professional growth and ensure an effective financial reporting function
- Oversee and participate in the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, and the MD&A, and assist in the preparation and review of other public disclosures
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial information across external disclosures and internal reporting; while meeting strict internal and external reporting deadlines
- Support statutory, regulatory, and stock exchange reporting requirements
- Oversee the preparation of financial materials for the Board of Directors and Audit Committee
- Support a robust internal control framework over financial reporting
- Coordinate with external auditors, manage audit timelines, requests, and resolution of findings
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance and business teams to ensure alignment between financial reporting requirements and operational activities
- Involvement in preparing formal memorandums and advising senior leadership of significant reporting matters
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and systems. Support finance transformation initiatives, including automation and reporting optimization.
- In coordination with the accounting policy team, lead the upcoming adoption of IFRS 18 in the Company’s financial statements and MD&A.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA designation (active and in good standing).
- 10+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or audit experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience in leading and mentoring a high functioning team
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and confidently to senior management
- Strong IFRS technical knowledge and public-company reporting experience
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting systems
