About the role

Access Communications is seeking an energetic, motivated, customer focused individual to join our Dispatch team. Access is a fast paced, dynamic organization, with a positive work environment. Do you like working with all kinds of interesting people? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Dispatcher in Regina.

As a Dispatcher:

  • You love to save the day, taking ownership of coordinating all field activity for a province wide fleet of technicians to ensure commitments are met in customer service, installation and plant functions.
  • You use a positive approach to monitor and adjust booking times to ensure we are delivering the customer service Access is famous for.
  • You are fast on your feet & can keep up with constantly evolving information & procedures as part of a high-tech company that leads the way in TV, Internet, Phone, & Security services.
  • You have a flexible schedule, and are able to work a combination of days, evening and weekends with open availability.
  • Dispatch is scheduled from 7:00am – 9:30pm, 7 days a week. This part time position is nearly full time hours and will be scheduled 30-37.5 hours per week.

Competencies you have for success:

  • Top-notch Customer Service skills including empathy, professionalism, courtesy, common sense, & patience.
  • Talent for handling a large number of calls efficiently & accurately in a busy environment.
  • Must be able to work well both independently and in a team environment.
  • Geographical knowledge of Regina and Saskatchewan would be an asset.
  • Ability to respond positively to constructive feedback.
  • Capacity to quickly adapt to new processes, procedures, & technology.
  • 1 – 2 years of previous Dispatch experience is an asset.
  • Minimum grade 12 education.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check.
