The Opportunity

This is a content marketing role within SmartSkin’s commercial team. The mandate is to improve how the company is understood in the market and to create market-facing content that helps customers quickly understand SmartSkin’s value.

You will lead the development of content that supports positioning, product storytelling, thought leadership, and sales enablement .

This is a strategic, hands-on role for someone who can translate complex scientific and technical subject matter into clear, credible, commercially effective content.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and evolve SmartSkin’s content roadmap in line with commercial priorities and growth markets
  • Develop messaging pillars, proof points, and narrative themes used across campaigns and customer-facing materials
  • Create high-quality assets such as case studies, white papers, one-pagers, sales decks, presentations, executive messaging, and webinar or event content
  • Partner with Sales and leadership to strengthen proposals, pitch materials, and customer-facing collateral
  • Support external visibility efforts including announcements, press releases, and award submissions
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with technology, business, and industry media outlets
  • Contribute to digital and social content planning and distribution in partnership with the broader marketing team

What You Bring

  • 5–8 years of progressive experience in content marketing, communications, product marketing, or a related field
  • Strong B2B writing and editing ability, with a track record of developing market-facing content such as case studies, thought leadership, and sales enablement materials
  • Comfort working with technical subject matter experts and translating complexity into clear, useful messaging
  • Strong project management skills and reliable follow-through
  • Experience in technology, innovation, science, industrial, or other technically complex environments is strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting global markets is an asset

Location

SmartSkin's head office is in Fredericton, New Brunswick, which is the preferred location. Candidates based elsewhere in Atlantic Canada will also be considered. Occasional travel to Fredericton is expected, particularly during onboarding and at key points of in-person collaboration.
