#####Position Summary
Are you interested in an opportunity to grow professionally within a positive and progressive culture? Northern Health is seeking an experienced Accountant Clerk, Capital to join our Finance department.
In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position is responsible for complex reconciliation, performs account analysis, coordinates third-party communication requests and assist with period-end reports. Performs various other duties related to the position.
**Shift Rotation/Hours of work:**Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00
#####Qualifications

Completion of second year student of an Accounting Designation Program or post-secondary diploma in Business Administration, four (4) year’s of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Experience with computer systems, specifically with Excel.
Skills and Abilities:
-
Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets.
-
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
-
Ability to organize work.
-
Ability to deal with others effectively.
-
Ability to pay close attention to detail, maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
-
Ability to work effectively under the pressure of deadlines.

About Northern Health
Northern Health is the key provider of public health care in Melbourne's northern region.
Established in July 2000, Northern Health provides quality health care services to the expanding communities in Melbourne's northern suburbs. In one of Melbourne's busiest growth corridors, Northern Health offers the community health care services where they are needed - close to where people live.
Northern Health is made up of four campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre and Craigieburn Centre.
Our campuses work together to provide a unique mix of services including medical, surgical, emergency, intensive and coronary care, paediatrics, women's and maternal health, mental health, aged care, palliative care, and rehabilitation programs.
These services are provided through inpatient, ambulatory and community-based programs.
Northern Health's programs and services are split into two different streams - acute and sub-acute. This structure is designed to assist services to be integrated across our campuses and ensure that patients have access to the best healthcare within the most efficient time frame.
