About the role

Title: Line Coordinator

Reports to: Production Supervisor and Manager at Mucci Pac Ltd.

Based at: Kingsville, Ontario

Date Revised: November 4, 2025

Type of Employment: Full time, permanent, 6-days a week, steady midnight shift and potentially extended hours depending on workload and priorities, which could include possible Sunday shifts. Please note that the Midnight shift could have different start times based on production needs.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Utilize ability to communicate for instructional changes or adaptations to ensure production line efficiency and performance
  • Communicate any produce concern (i.e. either quality or quantity) to the Production Supervisor or Manager
  • Coaching and training employees as they grade, sort, and package produce, also providing guidance on individual customer requirements
  • Ensure that they are coaching, training and motivating employees on daily basis
  • Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that quality, size and packing specifications for the individual customer groups are met
  • Remove defective products or materials
  • Ensure the production line has clean containers, materials, supplies, and work areas, making use of available cleaning solutions and hand tools
  • Ensure that accurate measurements, weights, product counts and use of appropriate materials is occurring on assigned production lines
  • Ensure that accurate production records and information is maintained, uploaded, to designated locations
  • Perform Packer duties once line has been set up, in the absence of a Packer and fill in on the line for breaks
  • Participate and be complaint in the company policies for Occupational Health and Safety, Food Safety; reporting any OHS or Food safety concerns/ incidents to the Production Supervisor or Manager
  • Maybe asked to complete other tasks based on experience and qualifications

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Completion of High School, GED or equivalent is required
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (written, oral and spoken) in English
  • Proven ability to influence those that are not direct reports
  • Strong understanding of production needs of produce (i.e. cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers)
  • Ability to demonstrate accountability, show initiative, be a team player and be a consistent self-starter
  • Communicate any issues or concerns to the production supervisor or manager
  • Intermediate to advance level with MS Office, (Word and Excel)
  • Proven ability to work in fast paced environments

Physical Abilities:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
  • Must be able to lift material regularly up to 14 kg / 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 23 kg / 50lbs
  • Must be able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time
  • Must be able to work in a temperature-controlled environment of approximately 13 ˚C / 55 ˚F
