About the role
We have a full-time opportunity for an Accounting Assistant to join our Campus Nissan Victoria team.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Overview:
Reporting to the Office Manager, the Account Receivable Clerk is responsible for recording the financial operations of the dealership and obtaining the financial data required for the maintenance of the accounting records. Absolute confidentiality of all information received is required.
Responsibilities:
Our Accounting Assistant is responsible for following our accounting standards, maintaining up to date reports and assisting the Office Manager by completing the following duties:
- Reconciling point of sale machines, cash, and cheques with previous business day transactions
- Preparing deposits and completing a deposit spreadsheet, on a daily basis.
- Reconciling the statements of account and seeing to any necessary collection.
- Submitting extended warranty claims and following up on payments.
- Supporting Reception as needed.

- Ability to multi-task and keep organized in a timely manner.
- Detail-oriented and accurate in all work and communication.
- AR experience required.
- Dealership experience is considered an asset.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent customer service skills with positive and courteous telephone etiquette.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with both co-workers and our guests.
- Data entry skills.
