What you will be doing:
- Greet and welcome visitors with a warm and courteous demeanor.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.
- Manage the reception area and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Receive and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings for internal and external clients.
- Keep the lunchroom and common areas tidy and presentable, ensuring a pleasant space for employees and visitors.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and organizing documents.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient office operations.
- Handle customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department or personnel.
- Assist with organizing company events or special projects, as needed.
What you bring to the team:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or in a similar role is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities effectively.
- Proficient in using office equipment, telephone systems, and computer applications.
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Ability to remain composed and proactive under pressure or during busy periods.
- Familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- High degree of emotional intelligence and empathy.
How you will succeed:
In the first year, success will be measured by the ability to manage the reception duties with professionalism and efficiency, while building positive relationships with clients, both internal and external.
