About the role
Position Description At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an AP/AR Clerk to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Power Bus Way Team in Mississauga, ON. The AP/AR Clerk supports the day-to-day operational activities of Power Bus Way’s accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
What Will You Do?
- Ensures transactions are recorded promptly and accurately in accordance with internal accounting policies.
- Creates and distributes invoices to customers and verifies, records, and posts payments received.
- Reviews purchase orders, statements, and invoices to verify amounts owed and records and processes payments for debts owed by the organization.
- Responds to customer or vendor inquiries regarding payments or billing and researches and resolves discrepancies.
- Maintains and reconciles accounts payable and receivable ledger accounts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a related field preferred
- 1-3 years of related experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP systems is an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Salary Range: $55,000-$60,000/annually
