What You’ll Do:

The Software QA Analyst ensures that all software applications, systems, and integrations across the Groupe Nordik digital ecosystem meet functional, performance, and security standards before release. This role involves leading QA initiatives across development squads, designing and maintaining automated test frameworks, and mentoring junior QA analysts while participating in continuous delivery practices.

The position supports our cloud-first, customer-centric applications built on JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React Native, PostgreSQL, containers, AWS Lambda, and other AWS services. Incumbent will also support SAAS testing plans and execution for enterprise applications as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead QA strategy, ensuring test coverage across web, mobile, and backend services;
  • Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar;
  • Coordinate test planning, data preparation, and test execution across teams;
  • Review product requirements and provide early feedback on testability and risk;
  • Analyze test results, perform root cause analysis, and report defects;
  • Collaborate with DevOps to integrate tests in CI/CD (GitHub Actions, AWS Pipelines);
  • Coordinate junior QA staff and conduct peer reviews of QA artifacts;
  • Contribute to QA documentation, quality audits, and continuous improvement.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field;
  • 3+ years in software QA (manual + automated);
  • Certifications ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent (assets);
  • Certifications AWS Cloud Practitioner or Developer Associate (assets);
  • Experience with performance, load, or security testing frameworks (assets);
  • Skills with technical environment: JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React Native, PostgreSQL, AWS (Lambda, S3, ECS, etc.), GitHub, GitHub Actions, Cursor AI, Containers (Docker), CI/CD pipelines;
  • Experience with QA tools: Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, TestRail, Postman, JMeter, Allure, GitHub Actions or AWS CodeBuild for test automation pipelines.
