What is the role all about?

The Cloud Accounting Bookkeeper is an integral member of faacloud as they will

own the relationship with their clients while working closely with internal stakeholders as well. This person will help clients ease their financial needs by removing their current financial frustrations!

Here is how you will make an impact

Bookkeeping using cloud accounting technologies Day-to-day accounting activities with multiple clients Bank reconciliations Payroll processing Payment processing Preparing month-end and other various reporting GST/HST, EHT, and Workers’ Compensation filings Partnering with your clients’ teams Assist with operational items Support other team members for larger clients Assist in onboarding new clients

Cloud inventory ERP implementations Financial Analysis Internal projects (various) Large cloud accounting implementation projects Research and testing of new apps and features for the company and for app partners

You should apply if

You love accounting and technology! Both of these are a must! You have experience in either a Canadian accounting firm, an SMB, or in the cloud accounting industry 3-5 years of relevant work experience Familiarity with Cloud Accounting platforms in the SMB space Strong Microsoft excel skills You are self-motivated and have the ability to think out of the box Strong interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication Highly organized Highly adaptable and can think on your feet You have experience managing payroll (considered an asset) You have experience with project management (considered an asset) Experience with Xero, Quickbooks (Online and Desktop) or Sage 50 (considered an asset) Experience with other cloud accounting apps such as Dext, Wagepoint, and Plooto (considered an asset)
