Job Description

Purchasing & Store Supervisor (Full Time) The Purchasing & Store Supervisor is a critical dual-function role responsible for managing the hotel's end-to-end procurement cycle, inventory control, and shipping/receiving operations. This position ensures that all food, beverage, operating equipment, dry goods, and administrative supplies are procured cost-effectively, stored safely, tracked accurately, and distributed efficiently in compliance with Accor's financial policies and standards.

What you will be doing

Oversee the competitive sourcing and ordering of all food, beverage, dry goods, and administrative supplies in strict accordance with company procurement policies. Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef, Director Food & Beverage and Venues/Banquets managers to optimize purchase volumes, negotiate prices, and maintain appropriate quality standards. Supervise the daily receipt of all goods, verifying physical shipments against purchase orders (POs) and delivery notes for correct quantity, weight, and price. Maintain organized and sanitary storage of all incoming shipments, including cold chain compliance inside walk-in coolers, freezers, and dry storerooms. Conduct annual performance reviews and offer ongoing coaching, development plans, and constructive feedback to storeroom and receiving team. Lead the execution and verification of scheduled monthly inventory counts in all major hotel storage areas using inventory management software. Various other duties as assigned.

Physical Aspects of the Position

Frequent standing and walking throughout shift Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting

Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Aptitude for repetitive physical work including but not limited to: lifting heavy objects, some exceeding 100 lbs, moving heavy carts and pallets Comprehensive knowledge of food & beverage products and their safe handling Highly computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Windows based Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and databases Familiarity with computerized purchasing and inventory control software an asset Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization document.
