Non-Union Job Posting Business Services Officer The Superior-Greenstone District School Board is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Business Services team as a Business Service Officer.

The Business Services Officer is a key position within the SGDBS Business Department. Reporting to the Assistant Superintendent of Business, this role supports financial operations, enrolment and grant management, centralized procurement, and data analysis. The Officer also contributes to special projects, system implementation, and process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and service delivery across the organization.
As we continue to strengthen accountability and streamline business processes, the successful candidate must demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills, sound judgement, and a collaborative mindset. This individual must be detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Candidates Must Possess
- A university degree or college diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or a combination of experience, education, and training.
- A minimum of three (3) years of progressive related experience in financial operations, procurement, or data management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, cloud-based collaboration tools, and financial or student information systems.
- Experience in data analysis, project coordination, or software implementation is considered an asset.
Additional Competencies And Skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and customer service.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Initiative and sound decision-making based on analysis and alternatives.
- Second Language (English/Local Indigenous/French) is considered as asset
