About the role

TouchBistro is looking for aSales Development Representativeto join our Sales team in Toronto! Reporting to the Manager, Sales Development, you will promote TouchBistro and generate relationships with restaurant owners and operators through prospecting and qualifying leads through warm outreach via phone, email and text.

Joining TouchBistro as a Sales Development Representative we are committed to providing you with a concrete foundation to develop your sales skills starting from day 1, kicking it all off with our Sales Bootcamp! You will have continuous learning opportunities through weekly 1:1 and coaching sessions with leadership to help you excel. We value hard work; consistent top performers will have opportunities to pursue growth within the Sales organization.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and qualify warm leads from customer inquiries and demand generation marketing sources
  • Contact and qualify prospects through a high volume of cold calls, emails, text messages and social media outreach to connect with prospective restaurant owners and operators
  • Conduct high volume outreach of 100-200 dials per day via phone
  • Prioritize and organize lead pipeline for maximum efficiency on a daily basis
  • Ensure all sales activities are accurately recorded and tracked in Salesforce
  • Understand and leverage product features, our Partners, Marketing, and others to ensure targets are met on a monthly basis
  • Work as a team to deliver the best customer experience at all times

What You Bring

Required:

  • You have 1+ year(s) of experience in a customer service role
  • You have a track record of self-improvement, upward growth, and top performance with KPIs or quotas
  • You are passionate about sales, the restaurant industry, SaaS and technology
  • You are competitive, coachable, and motivated to exceed targets
  • You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, coming into our Toronto office 2 days a week—Tuesdays and Thursdays

Nice To Haves:

  • You have a University or College degree
  • You have Salesforce and/or Point of Sale experience
  • You are bilingual Spanish/English
