Job Description Summary: Are you a natural communicator with a passion for people, sales, and service? As a Leasing Specialist, you’ll be the friendly, first point of contact for prospective residents—guiding them from inquiry to move-in while showcasing the benefits of our vibrant communities. This is a people-first, on-the-move role where your charm, organization, and sales savvy help drive leasing success and build thriving, happy communities.
What You’ll Get To Do
- Greet prospective residents warmly and guide them through property tours
- Highlight apartment features, amenities, and neighborhood perks
- Respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, and follow up with leads promptly
- Assist with lease applications, background checks, and lease signing
- Maintain accurate records in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio)
- Ensure model units and tour paths are clean, staged, and welcoming
- Support digital marketing and outreach efforts, including social media and listings
- Participate in resident events to promote engagement and retention
- Collaborate with team members to hit leasing goals and improve strategies
Who You Are
- College or University Diploma preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in leasing, real estate sales, or customer service
- Preferred knowledge/experience in Property Management
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Goal-oriented mindset with proven ability to close sales
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with leasing software (e.g., Yardi, RentCafe, AppFolio) preferred; strong computer proficiency and willingness to learn are equally valued
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
