Physiotherapist - Ontario Workers Network (OWN) - Temporary Part-Time
The OWN clinic at LHSC works in collaboration with the Ontario Workers Network (OWN) partnership and the WSIB to provide early assessment, treatment and interventional services for injured workers within London and surrounding region at Victoria Hospital. LHSC?s OWN clinic is looking to hire a temporary part-time physiotherapist to cover a leave of absence for a physiotherapist on our assessment team. Our physiotherapy assessors work closely with our physicians and surgeons to assess injured workers and make valuable recommendations regarding their care and provide reports to the WSIB outlining the status and progress of the worker?s referred to our Lower Extremity, Back and Neck, and O-Hub programs. Physiotherapists working in the OWN assessment program will require:
- Strong assessment skills and a robust evidence informed knowledge of best practices for treatment and intervention to provide to the injured workers referred for assessment, as well as communicate this effectively to community partners and the WSIB.
- Strong communication skills are required for this position
- Knowledge and skill with education on topics such as pain, ergonomics, wellness, injury prevention, etc.is also required,
- The ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team,
- Well established ability to complete comprehensive reports outlining workers progress for WSIB and workers care team providers,

Temporary Part-time
Rate of Pay: $53.72 per hour to $67.16 per hour
Duration: September 2026
##Qualifications
- Entry Level Baccalaureate(Honours) Degree or Master?s Degree in Physiotherapy
- Current Registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Current membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association preferred
- Recent experience in the assessment and treatment of work-related injuries including return to work planning
- 5 years experience working with orthopedic populations preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of current WSIB reporting processes preferred
- Experience with Functional Abilities/Capacity Evaluation would be an asset.
- Experience or training in pain management and chronic pain prevention strategies preferred
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and maintaining and charting in an electronic health record
- Previous experience with medical report writing, independent medical examination report writing experience would be an asset
- Demonstrated ability to effectively link with community resources
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Demonstrated commitment to both clinical and continuing education
- Strongly developed spirit of inquiry and commitment to evidence-informed practice
- Ability to respond positively to change
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's Vision, Purpose and Values
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
