We are currently hiring a Risk Reporting Analyst to support our London Administration team.
The Risk Reporting Analyst is responsible for generating risk reports and communicating the risk profile and performance of various credit portfolios. These reports are shared with Management, the Board, Regulators, and other third parties to inform data-driven decisions, support strategic objectives, and ensure that Libro’s portfolios remain aligned with its Risk Appetite.
This role leads advanced analytical projects involving cross-functional teams to develop, implement, monitor, and enhance automated decision models. It also conducts scenario analysis and stress testing of credit portfolios to help Management understand Libro’s capacity to absorb negative shocks.
The Risk Reporting Analyst supports Libro’s data governance framework as a data steward for credit portfolio data. This position is eligible for flexible work.
The Role:
- Generate Risk Reporting and Dashboards for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Committee and Board Risk & Credit Committee
- Manage portfolio segmentation and segment definitions to monitor key risk indicators and performance metrics
- Lead organizational efforts to enhance the completeness and integrity of credit data and information, including data collection processes and validation tools required to meet data quality standards and regulatory data and reporting standards
- Analyze trends and monitor key risk metrics of defined credit portfolios and sub-portfolios and 3rd party transaction pools
- Share portfolio insights with Management and business unit leaders to inform data-driven decision-making
- Lead the development of automated decisioning and risk rating models, and provide oversight and monitoring of model performance
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence teams to build and improve automated decision models using data analysis and AI tools
- Liaise with Financial Reporting teams to enhance probability of default, loss given default, and expected credit loss models and calculations
- Conduct risk scenario analysis and stress testing programs, including extreme but plausible scenarios, to assist management in understanding risk and control gaps and ensure Libro makes data-informed decisions
- Apply risk principles and analysis techniques to investigate complex issues and communicate key risk insights and recommendations to other business units
- Drive the evolution of Libro’s risk culture by sharing risk insights, demonstrating data-led decision making, and expanding risk analytics and intelligence capabilities
- Lead projects involving cross-functional teams and provide analytical expertise to build strategies for credit risk that protect Owners’ and Libro’s interests, as well as drive lean improvements and enable Owner prosperity
- Conduct periodic “Gemba” visits to understand Owner facing challenges and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For:
- University degree with concentration in business, finance, statistics, math or computer science.
- 5-8 years’ work experience preferably with experience in an analytical or research environment.
- Knowledge of personal and business credit risk principles
- Experience in statistical methods and data science languages (Python: Jupyter Notebook) an asset
- Proficient in data analytics and data visualization tools, preferably: Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, Co-pilot, Microsoft Office A passion for helping people grow their financial well-being.
