Job Description

You will be responsible for managing media relations and implementing the project’s communication plan.

What you will do

  • Build relationships with the client’s media representatives.

  • Develop and collaborate on the implementation of media relations strategies.

  • Conduct research and draft various communication tools.

  • Monitor media coverage (as needed).

  • Ensure message dissemination (as needed).

  • Coordinate with the client to obtain approval for external content distribution (e.g., by partners, subcontractors, suppliers).

  • Support and accompany spokespersons.

  • Develop external communication messages.

  • Ensure all messages distributed by the company are consistent with its positioning.

  • Maintain alignment between content production advisors, graphic designers, and multimedia specialists.

  • Manage the work schedule and monitor project costs.

  • Track and evaluate communication activities, providing recommendations to promote and maximize visibility.

  • Work closely with the client on implementing the communications plan and managing media relations.

  • Participate in internal meetings related to community relations.

This role could be for you if you have

  • A bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Communications/Marketing.

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience.

  • Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.

  • Good knowledge of graphic design and web development tools (an asset).

  • Strong leadership and strategic vision.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Awareness of trends in digital communication tools.

  • Strong skills in prioritization, scheduling, and budget management.

  • Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams, with creativity and adaptability.
