**Position Schedule:**Full-Time
Come join us in Firm Analytics, where we strive to unleash the full potential of data and analytics to address business challenges. As a Data Analyst on our team, you will design, develop, and deliver actionable insights and solutions by applying statistical concepts and analytic techniques such as root cause, exploratory, sensitivity and scenario analysis, as well as hypothesis testing and economic modeling. You will combine data from multiple sources to develop innovative approaches and solutions to business problems. You will collaborate with business leaders and other team members to develop actionable insights and build a cohesive story to inform enterprise decision making and influence strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate and provide actionable insights on ambiguous business problems by applying statistical concepts and analytic techniques to support and inform business decisions

Independently approach complex problems with sound judgement, evaluate multiple solutions, apply critical thinking, and analytical reasoning to deliver impactful results

Merge, cleanse, and transform complex data from multiple sources ensuring data integrity and consistency for reliable analysis

Develop advanced logic to structure datasets for analysis

Understand key business drivers and priorities to align analysis in support of strategic goals and long-term enterprise success

Lead, manage and execute projects and problems with agility and independence, addressing risks and barriers with timely communication and escalation

Partner with internal and cross functional teams, as well as business leaders and external vendors, to understand the business problem, recommend solutions, and drive projects, analysis, and deliverables to completion
-
Lead team to effectively communicate analytical findings and insights through clear, concise storytelling tailored to your audience, including senior and executive leaders
-
Apply critical thinking to pressure test and validate logic and outputs against known sources and understanding of the business

Educate senior and executive leaders across the firm on analytical concepts and best practices

Serve as a technical and functional data subject matter expert

3+ years of experience in a relevant analytics role

Bachelor's Degree required with an emphasis in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, or Data Science preferred. Relevant work experience will be considered. Advanced degree preferred.

3+ years experience interacting with database and file storage systems (Oracle, Hadoop, Snowflake, Databricks)

3+ years experience with data manipulation and analysis language (SQL/Python/R)

3+ years experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI or similar tool).

Strong analytical, critical and systems thinking required
