The Communications Specialist, GoHealth BC is a member of the team responsible for the development and implementation of Northern Health’s marketing communications strategies and specializes in marketing and promoting the GoHealth BC as an opportunity for health care professionals to work within Northern Health and all health regions of BC.
Role
This position will be involved in program development, including collaborating with external and internal partners, such as the Ministry of Health, all health authority partners and provincial organizations involved in the GoHealth BC. Additionally, this position will take an active role in all digital, public and employee sourcing/engagement work pertaining to program recruitment and marketing including:
Content development, including researching, interviewing, writing, editing, and planning social media management; Web and multimedia management, such as content publishing; Project managing the organization and planning of ongoing, long-term content and related strategies; Assisting the communications team and program areas with content planning and development; Providing digital communications support for the purpose of GoHealth BC recruitment, engagement, and marketing.
The salary range for this position is $76,111 (min) to $95,138 (midpoint) to $109,409 (max) per annum, based on 1.0 FTE. Northern Health typically establishes salaries within the minimum and midpoint of the salary range based on qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees.
