About the role

Job Description

The University of Toronto is seeking a Training Lead to oversee the development and delivery of training programs in AI, AI for Science, Robotics, and Lab Automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing training curricula that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Collaborating with faculty and industry partners to ensure training content is relevant and up-to-date.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making improvements as necessary.
  • Leading workshops and training sessions, both in-person and online.

Required Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in training or education, preferably in a technical field.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with instructional design and adult learning principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in a relevant field.
  • Experience with AI technologies and their applications in science and industry.
  • Familiarity with online learning platforms and tools.

Additional Information

This position may require occasional travel for workshops and conferences.
