About the role
Main responsibilities
- Prepare orders according to picking slips and customer specifications.
- Use a forklift to safely move, load, and unload goods.
- Scan products and ensure accuracy in quantities, codes, and labeling.
- Inspect product condition and report any anomalies or damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the workspace and warehouse.
- Follow safety standards at all times when operating a forklift.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the logistics and receiving departments to ensure optimal workflow.
- Perform any other related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Required qualifications
- At least one year of relevant experience in a similar field.
- Ability to safely lift loads (up to 40 lbs).
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (an asset).
Preferred qualifications
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
- Ability to perform physical tasks.
- Good manual dexterity.
