About the role
GSK is looking to hire a Territory Manager to join our Canadian Vaccines Business Unit. This is a field-based role covering the Oakville and Burlington territory. Ideally, the candidate will be located within or near the territory.
In this position, you will act as a business owner in your territory, building and executing a tailored territory business plan, developing strong partnerships with healthcare professionals, and driving growth across your assigned region. Your work will focus on increasing patient protection against vaccine-preventable diseases while aligning with GSK’s mission: to unite science, talent, and technology to get ahead of disease together.

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including general practitioners, pharmacists, and specialists, to support optimal vaccine recommendations
- Delivering impactful educational initiatives to support healthcare professionals in understanding disease states and solutions
- Conducting strategic sales calls to uncover customer needs and deliver tailored, customer-centric solutions
- Gathering market insights, staying informed on competitor activity, and adapting strategies effectively
- Collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to ensure alignment of goals and execution excellence
- Leveraging internal and external resources to develop innovative solutions for diverse customer needs
- Managing territory spend and budgets to ensure optimal impact and ROI
- Demonstrating strong understanding and consistent application of the GSK Code and values
- Traveling routinely within the territory, with occasional overnight travel as required
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree completed
- Minimum 3+ years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or healthcare preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the territory, including overnight stays
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn new digital tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Resilient and adaptable mindset to navigate challenges and drive solutions
- Previous experience in specialist-facing sales or therapeutic areas (cardiology, public health, or related fields)
- Strong business insights and demonstrated ability to apply data-driven decision-making
- Proven ability to interpret scientific research and translate insights into meaningful customer conversations
- Skilled in negotiation with a customer-centric and solutions-oriented approach
- Analytical skills to gather and interpret data for strategic planning
- Experience tailoring strategies to meet diverse customer needs and challenges
- A strong local presence within the Oakville/Burlington area
***This position requires the employee to drive routinely on company business and allows for the provision of a company-leased vehicle. However, to be eligible for this position and a company vehicle, GSK will need to obtain acceptable results from a license verification inquiry and drivers abstract review against its safe driver program requirements***
