Summary: Is responsible for the safe and accurate delivery of product to the production lines. Responsible to remove all used skids, recycle material etc. to ensure a clean and safe production area. Responsible to ensure the proper scheduling of recycle pickup to ensure minimum use of space. To aid in all forklift areas as needed and other duties as requested.
What you'll do:

Forklift

Accurate and efficient service to the Alphaliners

Unload incoming trucks and help receiving as needed

Load outgoing/finished products.

Recycle
-
Ensure all recycle receptacles in the [production area are within capacity, remove full receptacles’, replacing with open empty receptacles as needed.

Ensure a proper schedule is maintained with recycle pickup contractors to ensure a smooth flow of recyclables and minimum recycle inventories.

Physical Area Responsibility
-
All areas within the area described must be kept clean and neat at all times. Area from receiving office to the front of the warehouse including the production side of rack area.

Safety
-
All personnel either Flyer Force employees or contractors are to abide by the Edmonton Flyer Force Health and Safety policies.

Preventative Equipment Maintenance
-
Daily maintenance on forklift, as per Edmonton Flyer Force Maintenance Manual
Who you are:
- Minimum of completed high school or 2 years’ experience in similar environment is required.
- Must be able to balance multiple priorities and deal with diverse group of employees and customers in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
- Ability to comfortably lift up to 50 pounds is required.
- Must maintain a valid fork lift operator’s permit
Work Environment:
- This is a Part Time position generally 7 to 8 hours per day Monday to Friday. Weekends as needed.
- This position works primarily in a warehouse environment operating a forklift.
- Evaluations are conducted after the 3 month probationary period and on an annual basis thereafter.
