We are currently looking for a PB Flow Line Sub assembler to join our busy and growing manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be engaged in elevating the department and company to the next level. The incumbent will be forward looking and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement.

You will be provided with the coaching and training needed throughout the onboarding and orientation process that will build from your base of skills acquired from your past experiences.

General Accountability:
Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, the PB Flow Line Sub assembler will provide functions within pressure body and the module assembly, and general support of assigned functions within the Paint/Pressure Body Assembly department.
Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Work within the pressure body flow assembly line or sub-assembly tables
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
- Follow detailed badging instructions, processes, and procedures
- May assemble covers and may cross-train to the pressure body assembly tables
- Use hand and air tools, safely and as prescribed
- Follow quality control practices
- Wear personal safety equipment as required
- Maintain 5S practices
- Record keeping as directed by Supervisor
- Housekeeping as required
- All other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be able to use various inspection hand and air tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must be a self-starter and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Poses excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Must be computer literate - Microsoft applications, Exposure to MRP would be an asset
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma with Community College Certificate/Diploma or Manufacturing/Mechanical preferred
- Must have a minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment and/or with similar mechanical assembly experience
- Problem solving and Root Cause Analysis training and experience considered an asset
- Lean Manufacturing training and experience an asset
