Vickar Community Chevrolet is looking to fill the position of a Detailer who, under the direction of the General Manager, will primarily be responsible to always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.

We are known as the Auto Group where “Customers send their friends”.

Responsibilities:

• Wash vehicles for new & used delivery cleans as per guidelines
• Clean shop - Floors, Garbage, Corners, Shelves, Around Building (cig butts, weeds, trash, snow etc.) independently – without requiring instruction to do so
• Ensure doorways & walkways are free from debris, snow & ice
• Fully understand requirements for each different package and with protection package items as instructed
• Fully understand which rag, mitt, scrubber & chemical to use for each job
• Exterior & Engine clean for any detailing job (including bug & tar removal, door jambs, floor mats & safe engine shampoo)
• Chamois & clean windows quickly & streak free, vacuum all corners quickly & efficiently
• Clean & service vacuum & extractor units
• Move vehicles safely

REQUIREMENTS:

• Broad understanding of automotive terminology
• Valid drivers’ license
• Safely drive automatic & standard vehicles
• Able to work at a fast pace while upholding the highest quality & safety standards
• Diligent, efficient & consistent
• Ambitious, disciplined, mature, trustworthy, responsible
• Desire to move up into higher positions
