Job description

Quality Test Technician ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs reliability laboratory tasks, such as inspecting parts, conducting performance and lifespan tests, etc.
  • Conducts performance and reliability tests to verify a supplier’s performance or to qualify a new supplier.
  • Ensures the maintenance and proper functioning of all test equipment used in production and ensures that associated procedures are followed.
  • Understands and applies analytical methods to determine the root cause of failures (PCB and testing).
  • Supports the production team in resolving issues related to the operation of test units or equipment.
  • Ensures the calibration of test equipment.
  • Ensures the assembly and necessary adjustments of test jigs for new products.
  • Applies HSE instructions, rules, and standards for oneself and other users, as well as quality procedures (including ISO).

JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • A D.E.C. or certificate in electrical engineering or a related field is required.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in the electrical field.
  • Knowledge of quality standards related to production.
  • Ability to interpret electrical diagrams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Visio.
  • Ability to work independently, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift light to medium loads occasionally (max 15 pounds).
