The Role
Headlands Research has an immediate opening for an experienced Front Desk Receptionist / Data Entry Coordinator at Richmond Clinical Trials in Richmond, BC. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and style to positively engage and assist our patients and their families. You will be a part of a passionate team that works closely together to serve our patients and community. This is a crucial role that assists the medical team in providing the best possible care to our patients and the research team in successfully navigating our patients through ground-breaking clinical trials.

Pay: $58,000/year
Location: Onsite in Richmond, BC
Duties

Reporting to management and performing administrative duties.

Answering telephone calls, as well as screening and forwarding calls.

Scheduling and confirming appointments, meetings, and events.

Welcoming and assisting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

Handling basic inquiries and sorting mail.

Copying, scanning, and filing documents.

Monitoring office supplies and ordering replacements.

Keeping the reception area tidy and observing professional etiquette.

Assisting clinical research coordinators on day-to-day research tasks such as requesting patient medical records and scheduling research appointments.

Performing other administrative tasks, as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience working with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Minimum of 2 years administrative experience preferred in a medical environment; including experience in patient appointment scheduling, visit intake and use of electronic medical records.
- Experience in clinical research is a plus
