Job ID: 26-21231 Job Title: Business Analyst - Intermediate Location: Orillia, ON (Hybrid - 2-3 days/Week) Duration: 253 Business Days Client: Public Sector Pay Rate: CAD $60 -$70 per hour

Must Haves: 4 yrs of experience as IT BA Some Lead/project management experience Experience with DevOps, Figma, JIRA, MIRO

Key Responsibilities Lead business analysis activities for IT projects from initiation through implementation. Gather, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to understand business objectives and identify solution options. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, interviews, Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, and stakeholder meetings. Develop business process models, workflow diagrams, use cases, user stories, data flow diagrams, and business rules. Prepare business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process documentation, presentations, briefing notes, and other project artifacts. Develop business cases, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and implementation strategies. Support business process improvement and re-engineering initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and provide regular status updates to project leadership and stakeholders. Work within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments while supporting project governance standards. Collaborate with development and QA teams during design, testing, implementation, and deployment phases. Support user acceptance testing (UAT), requirements validation, and solution verification. Ensure compliance with organizational standards, accessibility requirements, and best practices.
