Commercial Sales & Business Development Manager
About the role
The Retail & Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence. This role combines strategic business development and hands-on retail sales management, overseeing a team to meet sales targets through both direct and indirect sales channels. The position plays a key role in identifying customer needs, building strong client relationships, and positioning the company as a leader in the construction industry.

Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to target both retail and business customers, ensuring the achievement of revenue goals.

Team Leadership and Sales Oversight: Oversee and manage the sales team, providing training, guidance, and motivation to ensure high performance and alignment with company objectives. 
- 
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, assess their needs, and suggest suitable products to generate future sales opportunities. 
- 
Market Expansion and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including exploring new markets, prospecting potential clients, and expanding sales channels. 
- 
Sales Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to senior management, adjusting strategies as needed to meet targets. 
- 
University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. 
- 
Experience- 7-10 years of experience in sales, business development, or retail management. 
- 
Knowledge and Skills- In-depth knowledge of sales strategies and business development best practices. 
- 
Strong leadership and team management skills. 
- 
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for client engagement and relationship building. 
- 
Ability to analyze market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly. 
- 
Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and sales funnel management.
