Opportunity

MacEwan University is seeking a Scheduler I for a full-time 12-month replacement term opportunity with the Office of the University Registrar.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring maximum utilization of campus space by scheduling rooms for university courses, exams, activities, and meetings using computerized software applications (Infosilem Academic Suite and Infosilem Campus);
  • Data inputting and maintaining MacEwan University's ERP, Scheduling and Curriculum Management systems including casual room bookings, electronic transfer of data, reports and data validation; and
  • Data cleanup within MacEwan University's ERP System (PeopleSoft Campus Solutions).

SKILLS

You will have:

  • Knowledge of curriculum, post-secondary educational culture, software and facilities;
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and organizational skills;
  • The ability to problem solve and prioritize multiple tasks;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Good working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel); and
  • The ability to work with high volume of work with tight deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of a post-secondary certificate in Computers or Management Studies.
  • A minimum of 2 years of data entry related experience.
  • Prior academic scheduling and/or post-secondary knowledge would be considered an asset.
  • PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and Infosilem software knowledge would be considered an asset.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
