Position: Transfer Driver (Team 7 - Prince George)
Schedule: 4 x 12 | Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday | 3:00pm - 3:00am
Position Overview
The Transfer Driver will be responsible for the delivery of trailers over established routes to be based out of Prince George and they will be going from Prince George to Cache Creek then back to Prince George. The successful applicant will be compensated by the daily contract rate.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Transfer Driver will be responsible for transferring the Prince George and Delta trailers. The Transfer Driver is expected to operate the vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules and regulations of the road, and following all appropriate company policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Valid Class 1 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract

LCV Certification Required (In-house Training Provided for Successful Applicants)
- (Min. 2 years of driving experience; Min. 150kms driven on a tractor trailer)

Eligibility for bonding and transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification
-
Excellent customer service skills
-
Excellent communication and time management skills
-
Safe operation of all equipment and Strong mechanical aptitude

A high-level of integrity and a strong work ethic, able to work with little supervision and be self directed

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to lift, load, push, pull and carry items up to 60 lbs

Ability to work independently as well as assist team members when necessary
