Fonctions Spécifiques/Specific functions
The Human Resources team is looking for someone who is motivated to represent Inuit culture and strengthen the connections between the community and UTHC. Main Responsibilities - Develop and maintain partnerships to support local recruitment - Support local hiring: prepare documents, manage employee files, and assist in the onboarding process - Collaborate with managers on job postings, application review, and interviews - Enter, update, and maintain accurate employee information in the Logibec payroll system - Monitor and follow up on inactive employee files and incoming email requests - Respond to requests by phone, email, and in‑person at the Kuujjuaq office - Participate in job fairs, networking events, and community outreach activities in Nunavik - Promote the Challenge Summer Student Program - Perform any other related tasks
Exigences spécifiques/Specific Requirements
- DEC in office administration or a related field, or AEC in Communication in Administration (Marie‑Victorin). *In the absence of a DEC/AEC: High school diploma with relevant experience (Administrative Officer Class 1 salary). - Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Internet and social media. - Fluency in Inuktitut and English - Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy, analytical skills, judgment, and professional discretion. - Team spirit and professional customer service skills. - Motivation to learn and develop new skills.
