About the role:

IAMGOLD is looking for a Digital Security Specialist to support cybersecurity operations across our corporate and mine site environments. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Cybersecurity, you will help protect our people, systems, and data by coordinating incident response, managing vulnerabilities, enhancing email security, and supporting cybersecurity awareness programs. You’ll work closely with site and corporate technology teams as well as external partners to strengthen IAMGOLD’s cybersecurity posture.

Responsibilities:

Security Operations

  • Coordinate and support cybersecurity incidents escalated through security and internal reporting channels.
  • Perform initial triage and validation of security alerts, and assist with impact assessments across IT and OT environments.
  • Maintain incident documentation and support post-incident reviews, tabletop exercises, and continuous improvement efforts.

Vulnerability & Email Security

  • Coordinate vulnerability scanning activities and track remediation efforts.
  • Monitor and manage email security controls; analyze and investigate suspicious emails and support phishing incident response.
  • Support phishing simulation exercises and security awareness initiatives.

Compliance & Third‑Party Risk

  • Assist with compliance activities, audits, and cybersecurity reporting.
  • Support third‑party cybersecurity risk assessments and remediation tracking.
  • Maintain dashboards, KPIs, and program reporting.

QualificationsKey Skills & Knowledge:

  • Post-secondary education in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 6+ years in cybersecurity operations, security analysis, or incident response.
  • Experience in mining, industrial, energy, or OT‑related environments (asset).
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM) and cybersecurity frameworks such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and ISO/IEC 27001.
  • Hands-on experience with security technologies and platforms such as CrowdStrike and Proofpoint.

Salary Range: $89,000 to $133,500+ bonus
The final offer is determined based on your individual skills, qualifications, and competencies and aligned with our commitment to internal equity.
