Position Overview
- Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy towards new and existing customers aligned with our strategic goals and vision
- Build, lead and develop your sales team to implement this strategy effectively
- Monitor, report and manage sales data ensuring sales activities and initiatives are developed & executed to align with our financial goals and operating requirements
- Assist in new or revised product requirements with market insight and (competitive) analyses
- Customer Engagement
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients through effective account management
- Actively participate and support your team in negotiating and closing deals, especially with focal clients
- Collaborate with cross-functionally to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- Maintain strong engagement of Director-level participants for Deighton Hosted Conferences (DUC & Regional Peer Exchanges)
- Create, own and deliver the Marketing Strategy and the execute associated plans leading a team of marketeers
- Develop and execute exceptional demand-generation campaigns to drive leads and sales pipeline
- Lead and ensure successfully executed Deighton Hosted Conferences
- Showcase our products and their benefits, in how they solve the challenges of our prospective and existing clients
Required Skills
- Proven track-record in leading a Sales team of a B2B USD $20-50M software or technology brand.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple global targets through a structured sales and account management approach.
- Excellent collaboration and organization, excelling at strategic planning, execution, and influencing & inspiring others to achieve common goals.
- Proven sales leader with experience hiring, managing, retaining and developing skilled sales talent.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Analytical and operational analysis experience, a love of data and what it means to KPIs.
- Travel to United States is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or a related field, Master is a plus.
