About the Role
We’re seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to join our dynamic Credit Risk team. You’ll play a key role in managing credit exposure, supporting portfolio growth, and ensuring risk is kept within appetite and tolerance levels. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll analyze financial statements, prepare business cases, and contribute to the smooth running of credit processes.
What You’ll Do
- Review credit submissions for completeness and quality
- Analyze financial statements and build business cases for underwriting
- Research clients and support credit limit approvals
- Maintain mark‑to‑market reporting and margin fund follow‑ups
- Prepare hedging documentation and update systems
- Monitor exception queues and escalate as needed
- Keep files organized and accurate, supporting audits and reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Experience underwriting commercial credit limits
- Strong understanding of financial statements and reporting processes
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and Word, with adaptability to new systems
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
Education & Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance (or related field)
- Training or exposure to foreign exchange, forwards, or options is an asset
- Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor’s program in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
