Director - Product Management, Fraud
About the role
Synopsis of the role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic team as Director - Product Management, Fraud. This role will be pivotal in managing multiple products and capabilities within our Fraud Product Portfolio. The successful candidate will drive product strategy, development, and go-to-market execution, ensuring our offerings meet market demands and contribute to our strategic goals. We are looking for candidates with a deep background in Product Management, that is focused on Fraud and/or Financial Crimes. What You Will Do Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the Fraud Products portfolio aligning with Equifax Canada's overall business objectives. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify new opportunities and inform product development. Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation and definition through development, launch, and post-launch performance monitoring. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, marketing, legal, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery and market adoption. Requirements Definition: Translate business requirements and customer needs into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and promotional activities. Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior product team members. What Experience You Need Experience: Minimum of 8 years of product management experience, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing products related to Fraud mitigation. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field. Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to think strategically, identify market opportunities, and translate them into actionable product plans. Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of data, analytics, and cloud technologies. Ability to engage in technical discussions with engineering teams. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
