The bigger picture:   

We’re looking for a high performing, results driven leader to come on board as our Manager, Wealth Advice and Planning. In this role, you will play a key role in providing leadership, direction and ongoing support to the Wealth Specialist or Advisory team. You will be leading high-performing teams to deliver sustainable growth, strengthen advice and planning capability and drive business development that result in positive client outcomes.  

How you’ll spend your time:   

  • Leading, coaching and developing Wealth Specialists or Advisors to build confident, advice focused capabilities and grow strong client relationships 
  • Executing succession planning and talent development and engagement to ensure long term capability across the team  
  • Leading and executing growth initiatives for the team aligned with Thrive’s growth strategy 
  • Building and maintaining strong partnerships across Thrive, Conexus and external partners to support growth objectives  
  • Ensuring growth initiatives and advisory practices are compliant with regulatory requirements, company policies and legislation    

The way people describe you:   

You are a proactive, value-driven leader with proven experience in driving sales results and supporting advisory development and performance.  You drive business development through advice-led planning and referrals to expand client relationships and support sustainable growth. You collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support the execution of growth strategies.   

The experience you bring:   

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial industry, with progressive responsibility in wealth management or financial advice  
  • 3 years of experience leading professional advisory or planning teams and driving consistent execution across teams  
  • Relevant post-secondary education in business, finance or a related discipline  
  • Recognized wealth industry designation (CFP, CIM)  
  • Mutual Fund or Investment (INV) registration is required  

Salary range:  

$98,590 - $132,529 with 17% Short Term Incentive Target 

Various Thrive locations in Saskatchewan will be considered however not all locations may be able to accommodate this role.
