About the role
Adecco is currently hiring a Refinish Technician for a full-time, permanent opportunity with a growing autobody repair team in Hinton, Alberta. In this role, you will primarily focus on preparing and masking vehicles for the paint department, while also providing coverage during high-volume periods or vacation coverage. The ideal candidate has autobody shop experience, strong knowledge of prep and paint processes, and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Salary: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour + production rates
- Location: Hinton, AB
- Job Type: Full-time | Permanent
- Schedule: Monday to Friday | Approximately 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles and parts for painting, including masking and sanding
- Perform buffing, wet sanding, and polishing of painted vehicles
- Support the paint department during peak workloads or absences
- Follow all Health and Safety programs and participate in safety meetings
- Attend daily and/or weekly production meetings
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the Location Manager
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in an autobody shop required
- Strong knowledge of vehicle prep and painting processes
- Journeyperson or Red Seal certification preferred (apprentices in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year will be considered)
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and use of hand tools
- Eligible to work in Canada
