Sales Development Specialist

Your tasks
- Research and identify potential prospects and new business opportunities within the Canadian market.
- Conduct targeted outreach using platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email, and phone.
- Qualify leads against predefined criteria and pass high-quality opportunities to Sales Representatives.
- Gather prospect information, build rapport, and support early-stage relationship development.
- Assist in executing global and local marketing campaigns.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, ensuring up-to-date lead interactions, data integrity, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Management, Field Sales, Service, and Marketing to support pipeline growth.
- Contribute ideas to enhance lead generation processes and improve operational efficiency.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree or College certificate in Marketing or a related field.
- Experience in Marketing, Customer Service, or a similar customer-facing discipline.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
- Experience using digital prospecting tools such as LinkedIn and ZoomInfo.
- Strong time management, organization, negotiation, and consultative skills.
- A positive attitude, high motivation, and a strong work ethic.
- Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario.
- Inside Sales experience in the food industry or capital equipment sector is an asset
- Experience with automated equipment sales, as well as familiarity with labels and consumables, is preferred
- Ability to communicate in both English and French is beneficial
