About the role
Dawson International Truck Centres is looking for a Shipper/Receiver who can ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurately documented and loaded/unloaded efficiently and can coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff to maintain smooth, timely operations for all deliveries and pickups.
In this role you will be a valued member of Dawson International Truck Centres, working in a permanent, full-time position of Shipper/Receiver, reporting to the Manager, Parts. Your base location will be Vernon, BC.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Receive products from vendor deliveries and unload trucks
- Update the product inventory as products are received and added to our inventory
- Package products for return to vendors
- Pickup and delivery of parts as needed
- Counting inventory
- Packaging products for delivery and shipping to customers
- Management of the warehouse area (including design decisions, keeping tidy, showroom displays (setup and maintenance), proper labelling)
- Assisting in core returns
- Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the delivery of parts
WHAT YOU BRING
- Valid Class 5 Driver's license
- Delivery experience is an asset
- Strong computer skills an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented and able to work under pressure
