The Work As an SAP S/4 Application Security Architect – Manager within Accenture’s Platform Security Practice, you will lead SAP security transformation initiatives for public and private sector clients. You will manage end‑to‑end delivery, oversee cross‑functional teams, and act as a trusted advisor on SAP security strategy, architecture, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities include:- Lead and deliver SAP security transformation initiatives, including S/4HANA upgrades, greenfield implementations, and cloud/hybrid SAP landscapes

Define and execute SAP S/4HANA security and access management strategies, including role design, authorization concepts, and business role alignment
-
Design, build, and test SAP single and composite roles, including transaction codes and Fiori applications
-
Lead Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, identify conflicts, and define remediation strategies using SAP GRC and related tools
-
Assess, implement, and govern SAP security controls across user provisioning, IAM integration, and compliance requirements
-
Collaborate closely with Change Management, Internal Controls, Information Security, PMO, and Business Process teams to ensure security is embedded across the program lifecycle
-
Review business process designs and align security considerations with functional and technical teams
-
Define integration approaches for role management across SAP and connected systems
-
Communicate SAP security risks, priorities, and recommendations to senior client stakeholders in clear business terms
-
Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and risks across one or more SAP security workstreams
-
Coach and mentor SAP security practitioners and support their professional development
-
Support sales pursuits, proposals, and solution shaping for SAP security engagements
-
Contribute to practice growth through thought leadership, assets, and delivery excellence What You’ll Need Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering

Minimum of 7 years of experience delivering SAP security solutions, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC environments
-
Strong expertise in SAP security concepts, including role design, authorization objects, transaction codes, and Fiori security
-
Hands‑on experience with Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, SAP GRC, and access governance
-
Proven experience leading SAP security workstreams or projects and managing cross‑functional teams
-
Experience working with clients in regulated environments (public sector or government preferred)
-
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and client‑facing skills
-
Experience with project delivery disciplines, including planning, budgeting, and risk management
-
Must be in possession of Secret Clearance status Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Qualifications)- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or SAP Security‑related certifications

Experience with SAP security in cloud and hybrid environments (SAP BTP, Azure, AWS, GCP)
-
Hands‑on experience with SAP Identity Management, IAM integrations, and SIEM tooling

Experience supporting sales pursuits or proposal development for ERP or SAP security solutions

Bilingualism (English/French)

Experience developing security standards, personas, and role‑based access models at scale

Prior experience mentoring or building SAP security teams within large transformation programs Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
