With approximately 900 employees, we operate a fleet of 45+ aircraft including the Metro 2, 3, 23, Merlin and Dash 8 aircraft. We are based in Winnipeg and Thompson, Manitoba as well as Sioux Lookout, Timmins, Thunder Bay, and Toronto Ontario. We provide scheduled passenger and freight services to Northern Manitoba and Northern Ontario, 24/7 North American charter services, Medical evacuation services and a full-service maintenance facility including design engineering, NDT, and Garrett turbine engine services.

Position Summary

Reporting to the YWG Base Manager, the Corporate Travel Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all corporate reservations, assisting corporate passengers with new bookings, modifications and cancellations, and ensuring that customer service standards are met and exceeded. The Corporate Travel Agent will play a vital role in facilitating smooth and efficient travel experiences for all corporate clients, ensuring that their needs are met and policies and procedures are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Assist corporate passengers with travel arrangements including, but not limited to, new bookings, itinerary modifications, cancellations and refunds, ensuring that sales and service standards are always maintained or exceeded
  • Address inquiries, concerns and requests promptly and courteously via email,phone, or in-person
  • Coordinate customer interactions, particularly with respect to irregular operations, service performance, baggage inquiries, or other customer servicerelated issues
  • Monitor flight status and updates that may affect corporate travellers and communicate changes promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to their travel plans
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the customer service team, commercial operations, and SOCC to assist corporate customers and ensure that all inquiries or complaints are dealt with effectively before escalating
  • Utilize Amelia Res to maintain accurate records of all corporate travel bookings, modifications and related communication
  • Oversee corporate travel bookings and other travel-related services according to company policy
  • Provide assistance in identifying efficiency opportunities and customer service improvement opportunities to optimize customer sales and service delivery
  • Responsible and accountable for maintaining thorough knowledge of relevant Perimeter Aviation LP policies and procedures
  • Actively participate in the Company’s Safety Management System
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Education, Experience and Certifications

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
  • Previous aviation experience considered an asset
  • Prior experience in travel coordination, travel agency, operations, and/or flight coordination preferred
  • Previous customer service experience considered an asset
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations
  • Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset

Working Conditions

  • Physically able to perform all listed job duties
  • Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role
  • Work performed primarily in an office environment
  • Shiftwork may be required (days, evenings and/or night shift)
  • Manuel dexterity required to use desktop computer and telephone
  • Occasional lifting of approximately 30 lbs may be required
  • Work performed in multiple environments, contact with staff and the public
